IndusInd Bank Q1 FY26 – Sharp Profit Fall Despite Stable Revenue…

IndusInd Bank reported a challenging quarter for Q1 FY26. While sales dipped just 2% YoY to ₹12,264 crore, the real pressure was seen on the bottom line. Operating profit (EBITDA) dropped 16% to ₹6,382 crore, and net profit crashed 68% YoY to ₹684 crore, down from ₹2,152 crore last year. Similarly, EPS fell sharply to ₹8.78 from ₹27.64, reflecting the heavy earnings hit. Though it posted a recovery from the loss of ₹2,236 crore in the previous quarter (Mar 2025), the YoY drop shows clear stress on profitability. The stock trades at ₹795 with a market cap of ₹61,935 crore and a relatively high PE of 52.7, which may concern investors if earnings don’t stabilize.
