J & K Bank Q2 FY26 – Mixed Performance Amid Profit Decline

J & K Bank reported Q2 FY26 results marked by moderate top-line and operating growth but a decline in profitability and earnings per share. Sales grew 5% YoY to ₹3,293 crore, reflecting steady business expansion in core banking operations. EBIDT increased 9% YoY to ₹2,335 crore, supported by improved operating margins and cost management. Net profit, however, fell 10% YoY to ₹495 crore, indicating margin pressures and higher provisioning costs. EPS declined 11% YoY to ₹4.49, showing weaker per-share earnings for the quarter. At a price of ₹107, with a market cap of ₹11,816 crore and a PE ratio of 5.7, J & K Bank reflects value characteristics but faces short-term profitability headwinds in the banking sector.
