Mazagon Dock Q1 FY26 – Mixed Bag with Profit Dip.
Mazagon Dock reported a revenue of ₹2,626 crore for the June 2025 quarter, reflecting an 11% year-on-year growth. However, despite higher sales, the company saw a sharp decline in profitability. Operating profit (EBITDA) dropped 53% YoY to ₹302 crore, and net profit declined 35% YoY to ₹452 crore. Earnings per share (EPS) also fell to ₹11.21, down from ₹17.26 in the same quarter last year. This indicates higher expenses or lower margins despite top-line growth. The company currently trades at ₹2,790 with a market cap of ₹1.12 lakh crore and a PE ratio of 51.9. While revenue growth remains steady, the pressure on profitability is something to watch in the coming quarters.
