I usually check these in order: 1. Revenue Growth 2. Profit Growth 3. EBITDA Margin Trend 4. Debt Movement 5. Management Commentary A company reporting 20% profit growth is good. A company reporting 20% profit growth with improving margins is much more interesting. Numbers tell you what happened.
