it was a strong day for the market. Nifty opened with a gap-up and, unlike the last few sessions, buyers stayed in control throughout the day. There wasn't much selling pressure, which helped the index close comfortably above 24,250. Market Breadth 🟢 more than 2,100 stocks closed in the green. Midcaps and Smallcaps also moved higher, showing that buying wasn't limited to just a few large-cap stocks. Sector Performance: 🟢 IT, Metals and FMCG led the rally. 🔴 Realty and CPSE were among the few sectors that ended in the red. It's still much lower than last week's highs, but a further rise in oil prices won't be good for India. strong Q1 results also kept buying interest intact, with several companies seeing good participation after announcing their numbers. now, all eyes are on the US Federal Reserve's policy decision, which could influence global markets over the next couple of days.
