Post Market Review - 02 April, 2026

The session flipped completely after the first half and this wasn’t selective. From panic selling to broad-based recovery, almost every sector bounced from day’s lows. Even midcaps participated well, which adds credibility to the move. IT led from the front, but this time it wasn’t alone, the rebound had width. Bank Nifty’s 1600-point recovery and Sensex pulling back 1700 points tells you this wasn’t just short covering in pockets, it was aggressive repositioning. Yet, macros haven’t cooled: Crude still elevated near $112, yields firm. So the real takeaway, 22100 held, and buyers showed up across the board. With markets shut tomorrow for Good Friday, this kind of close leaves the market at an interesting junction. Strong hands stepping in… or just fast money adjusting before the next global cue?
