Pre-Market Analysis & Global cues - 13 April, 2026
Friday looked strong… But weekend, the tone has clearly changed. Ceasefire talks have failed, and crude has jumped back near $103, that’s where the pressure is coming from. Global cues aren’t helping: US futures are in red, Asian markets opened weak, and Gift Nifty is pointing to a clear 1.5% gap-down. Yields are also inching higher again. So the setup shifts back to this: Relief rally → back to uncertainty. Oil rising + geo tensions usually doesn’t allow markets to stay comfortable for long. Bias: Slightly weak After a sharp upmove recently, this kind of backdrop usually brings some profit booking. More important than the gap-down will be what happens after the open - whether buyers step in… or stay cautious.
