Pre Market and Global Cues review - 05 March, 2026.
Global sentiment is attempting to stabilize after last week’s risk-off move. Nasdaq rebounded over 1% overnight while most Asian markets trade in the green. However, the macro backdrop remains fragile. Brent crude has pushed above $83 as Middle East tensions persist, keeping inflation concerns alive. The dollar is slightly firmer and US yields remain elevated. Gift Nifty indicates a mild positive start near the 24,500 zone after yesterday’s close at 24,480. On the options board, 25,000 remains the key overhead supply, with additional resistance near 24,500. On the downside, put writers are active around 24,400–24,000, while a deeper support base sits near 23,100 where the largest put OI is concentrated. Global markets may be cooling after last week’s selling pressure, but with crude trending higher and geopolitical risks still unresolved, the setup suggests a cautious start rather than a full risk-on environment.
