Pre-Market Review of Indian Stock Market & Global Cues - 06 March, 2026.

Global markets remained under pressure overnight. Dow Jones fell 1.6%, while the S&P 500 (-0.56%) and Nasdaq (-0.26%) managed to recover from deeper intraday losses. European markets also closed about 1.5% lower. Oil continues to be the key variable. Brent is near $84, lower on the day but still close to recent highs and ~17% above levels seen before the Middle East escalation. Asian markets are mixed this morning, with Hang Seng showing some rebound while Jakarta and Kospi trade lower. For India, Gift Nifty indicates a softer start (-0.55%), though it has bounced from overnight lows near 24,300. On the derivatives side, 25,000–26,000 remains a major call supply zone, while put writers continue to defend 24,000 with deeper support near 23,500–22,750. Despite yesterday’s positive close, geopolitical risks and elevated crude suggest a cautious tone heading into today’s session.
