RVNL Bags ₹169 Cr Order from West Central Railway – Stock in Focus!

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) will be in focus after the company became the lowest bidder (L1) for a new railway project worth Rs 169 crore from West Central Railway. 👉 This project includes design, supply, testing, and commissioning of power substations and related work in the Bhopal division. 👉 The work will be completed in about 540 days (1.5 years). Other recent updates: • RVNL’s board has approved a final dividend of Rs 1.72 per share for FY 2024-25. • In July, RVNL received another order from Southern Railway for upgrading the electric traction system. • It also got a Rs 447 crore project from Delhi Metro recently. Current stock details: • Last close: Rs 332.35 • 52-week high: Rs 568 (Sept 2024) • 52-week low: Rs 295.25 (Apr 2025) • The stock is now 41.3% below its high and 12.9% above its low. • Market cap: Rs 69,515 crore approx. How can this affect the stock? Getting new projects is a positive sign because it adds more revenue opportunities for the company in future. Investors usually see order wins as good news. However, since the stock has already corrected a lot from its peak, the movement may not be very big in the short term. This project win is good for RVNL’s long-term growth, but the share price may react only slightly unless the company keeps winning more large projects and shows profit growth.
