Shanti Gold Q1 FY26: Robust Profit Growth, EPS Anomaly.

Shanti Gold delivered strong YoY performance, with exceptional growth in profitability, though an anomaly in EPS shows a sharp decline. • Sales rose 22% YoY to ₹293 crore, compared to ₹240 crore in June 2024, staying flat sequentially (₹297 crore in Mar 2025). • EBIDT surged 154% YoY to ₹38.4 crore, up from ₹15.1 crore last year, also improving sequentially from ₹31.1 crore. • Net profit skyrocketed 174% YoY to ₹24.6 crore, versus ₹8.99 crore in June 2024, and above ₹19.1 crore in March 2025. • EPS, however, dropped sharply 54% YoY to ₹4.56 vs ₹9.99 last year, despite higher profits — possibly due to equity dilution/bonus issue. At ₹250 per share, Shanti Gold has a market cap of ₹1,805 crore and trades at a reasonable PE of 32.3. Summary: Operationally, Shanti Gold has delivered stellar growth in EBIDT and profits, indicating strong margin expansion. The fall in EPS is technical (likely due to increased share base) and doesn’t reflect weakness in fundamentals.
