Stock in Focus: RailTel Bags ₹455 Cr Railway Order, Strengthens Long-Term Order Book
RailTel Corporation of India has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) worth ₹454.95 crore from West Central Railway. As per the LoA, the project is scheduled to be completed by September 24, 2028, adding long-term revenue visibility to the company’s order book. Earlier in January, RailTel also secured an LoA worth ₹56.71 crore from Assam Health Infrastructure Development & Management Society (AHIDMS) for procurement, implementation, and maintenance of a Hospital Management Information System (HMIS). On the financial side, the company reported a 4% YoY decline in Q3 net profit to ₹62.40 crore, while revenue grew 19% YoY to ₹913.45 crore, reflecting strong topline momentum despite margin pressure. In the previous session, the stock closed at ₹332.30, up 2.51%. The 52-week high stands at ₹478.80 and the low at ₹265.30. Currently, the stock is about 31% below its high and around 25% above its low. With a market capitalisation of around ₹10,665 crore, the new railway contract strengthens RailTel’s order pipeline and long-term execution visibility.
