Stock Market Focus – July 24, 2025.

Infosys posted an 8.7% rise in Q1 profit to ₹6,921 crore, with revenue up 7.5% at ₹42,279 crore. EBIT grew 6.2% to ₹8,803 crore, though margins slipped 30 bps to 20.8%. Dollar revenue rose 4.8% to $4,941 million, and constant currency growth came in at 3.8%. The company raised full-year revenue guidance to 1–3% from 0–3%. Dr Reddy’s reported a modest 1.9% profit growth at ₹1,417.8 crore, while revenue jumped 11.4% to ₹8,545.2 crore. However, North America sales dropped 11%. Tata Consumer saw a 15% rise in profit to ₹334.2 crore and revenue grew nearly 10% to ₹4,778.9 crore. Bajaj Housing Finance delivered strong numbers with profit up 20.7% at ₹583 crore and net interest income surging 33.4% to ₹887 crore. Slight uptick in asset quality ratios: GNPA at 0.3% and NNPA at 0.13%. CMS Info Systems reported a 3% profit growth to ₹93.6 crore and revenue of ₹627.4 crore, up 4.7%. Persistent Systems had a standout quarter with profit rising 38.7% to ₹424.9 crore and revenue up 21.8% at ₹3,333.6 crore. Dollar revenue rose 18.7%. Cigniti Technologies reported a massive 527.6% surge in profit to ₹65.9 crore on 14% revenue growth. No exceptional loss this time, unlike last year. Oracle Financial posted a 4.1% profit rise to ₹641.9 crore, while revenue rose 6.4% to ₹1,852.2 crore. Filatex India saw profit rise 26% to ₹40.7 crore even as revenue dipped slightly to ₹1,049.4 crore. Other income rose sharply. Force Motors clocked strong growth with profit up 52.4% at ₹176.4 crore and revenue up 21.9% to ₹2,297.3 crore. Supreme Petrochem disappointed with profit down 33.6% to ₹80.9 crore and revenue falling nearly 12% to ₹1,386.5 crore. Lastly, Bikaji Foods posted a 2.8% rise in profit to ₹59.9 crore and 14.2% growth in revenue at ₹652.7 crore. Markets will be closely tracking quarterly earnings today with key names like Bajaj Finance, Nestle India, SBI Life, Canara Bank, ACC, Aditya Birla AMC, Adani Energy, APL Apollo, CG Power, Coromandel, Cyient, Hexaware, IEX.
