ICICI Bank has raised the average minimum balance for savings accounts in metros and urban areas to ₹50,000 (from ₹10,000), in semi-urban branches to ₹25,000 (from ₹5,000), and in rural branches to ₹10,000 (from ₹2,500) for new accounts from August 1. The RBI has also fined the bank ₹75 lakh for lapses in property valuation for certain mortgage loans and in maintaining some current accounts. HPCL, BPCL, IOC will receive ₹30,000 crore in compensation from the government for domestic LPG losses, paid in 12 tranches. IDFC First Bank will see Platinum Invictus B 2025 RSC invest ₹2,624 crore (5.09% stake) as part of a preferential issue, with RBI approval to go up to 9.99% holding. Bulk Deals: • Bharti Airtel promoter sold 6 crore shares (0.98% stake) at ~₹1,871 each, worth ₹11,227.05 crore. • Zinka Logistics: Sands Capital sold 10.68 lakh shares (0.6% stake) at ₹520.47, worth ₹55.58 crore. • EPACK Durable: Tata MF bought 15 lakh shares (1.56%) at ₹390 (₹58.5 crore), while Augusta Investments sold 38.5 lakh shares (4.01%) at ₹391.02 (₹150.5 crore). • Centum Electronics: Promoter sold 6.6 lakh shares (4.5%) at ₹2,300.93 (₹153.2 crore); HDFC MF & 3P India Equity Fund bought a 3.5% stake worth ₹118.45 crore.
