HDBFS
] hit a new 52-week low of Rs 536.70 on 15 October 2026 following its Q2 FY27 results, despite strong year-on-year profit growth. The stock closed at Rs 539.10, down 7.65%, with trading volume at 6.57 million shares. Consolidated net profit rose 34.2% to Rs 780.2 crore from Rs 581.4 crore in the year-ago quarter. Net interest income increased 15.6% to Rs 2,533.7 crore from Rs 2,192.5 crore. Despite the improvement in earnings, the stock witnessed sharp selling pressure. The daily chart shows a sustained downtrend, with the price falling below previous trading ranges. The RSI stands at 23.65, indicating oversold momentum, although this alone does not confirm a reversal. The calculated pivot point is Rs 549.82, based on the displayed high of Rs 573.65, low of Rs 536.70 and close of Rs 539.10. The key resistance is Rs 612. A sustained recovery above the pivot could indicate stabilisation, while continued weakness below it would keep the near-term outlook cautious.
