RPPInfra: ₹205.89 Cr Order Terminated, Stock Hits 3-Year Low

RPP Infra Projects shares fell 6.43% on Friday, August 28, closing at ₹53.83, after the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu terminated a ₹205.89 crore work order awarded to the company. The decision follows plans to restructure and redesign the Global Sports City project. Authorities said the aim is to develop a larger Sports City capable of hosting major national and international sporting events, potentially including events on the scale of the Asian Games. RPP Infra Projects operates across highways, roads, bridges, SEZ development, water management, irrigation and power projects, providing integrated engineering, procurement and construction services. Fundamentally, the company has a market cap of around ₹282 crore and trades at a P/E of 134.78, significantly above the sector P/E of 25.94. Its P/B is 0.53, while ROE stands at 12.48% and ROCE at 19.3%. The stock also traded at a fresh three-year low, highlighting heightened investor concerns.
