TCS surges 5% on Q2 beat, support 2,032, resistance 2,245

TCS rose 5.19% to Rs 2,183.80 after Q2 FY27 profit rose 15% to Rs 13,884 crore, with support at Rs 2,032 and resistance at Rs 2,245. Tata Consultancy Services Limited [

TCS
] surged 5.19% to Rs 2,183.80 by 11:20 am on 9 October, after its Q2 FY27 results beat estimates. The Sensex was up about 900 points at the same time. Consolidated net profit rose 15% year on year to Rs 13,884 crore. Revenue grew 11.2% to Rs 73,188 crore. Both beat Bloomberg estimates of Rs 13,786 crore and Rs 73,108 crore. The board declared a second interim dividend of Rs 12. The rally is a sharp bounce inside a larger downtrend. Price is about 38% below its July 2025 level near Rs 3,500, with lower highs since. Today’s bar opened at the low and trades near the high. RSI is 53.81, up from an average of 40.54, so momentum has turned. Resistance is Rs 2,245, then Rs 2,400. Support is Rs 2,032, then Rs 1,975. A close above Rs 2,245 would confirm the bounce, and a move past Rs 2,400 would challenge the pattern of lower highs. A close below Rs 2,032 would put the rally in doubt. Follow-through volume is the key signal. Disclaimer: I do not hold any position in this stock. This is not a recommendation to buy or sell.
