Adani Enterprises Limited reported its highest-ever quarter

ADANIENT
Enterprises reported its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA of ₹5,642 crore for Q1 FY27, up 49% year-on-year, with total income rising 50% to ₹33,546 crore. Profit before tax stood at ₹1,295 crore excluding the OFAC settlement charge of ₹2,644 crore. The company also highlighted expansion milestones: Adani Solar’s module-line capacity increased to 5.7 GW, and its data-centre business secured a new 400 MW hyperscale order. In parallel, Adani Enterprises successfully closed a ₹15,000 crore qualified institutional placement, allotting over 5.2 crore shares at ₹2,883 each, which management framed as a “referendum on credibility” after the U.S. bribery case against Gautam Adani was dropped in August. A Reuters Breakingviews piece on September 2 underscored that, with the U.S. case resolved, Adani is embarking on one of the largest investment drives by an Indian company, with foreign investors now holding nearly 7% of Adani Enterprises, up from 1.19% in December 2022.
