Adani Ports reported a more than 9% first-quarter profit

ADANIPORTS
Adani Ports reported a more than 9% year-on-year increase in first-quarter profit, supported by strong cargo volumes and steady domestic demand, which helped offset disruptions in global trade. Revenue and EBITDA both grew about 19% year-on-year in Q1 FY27, reaching ₹10,821 crore and ₹6,541 crore respectively, with international operations leading the growth despite geopolitical uncertainties. In a major strategic move, Switzerland’s MSC Group will acquire a 49% stake in Adani’s Vizhinjam port for $1.4 billion, in what the company describes as the largest foreign private investment in domestic port infrastructure; Kerala’s chief minister has, however, said the state was not consulted on the deal. Separately, Adani Ports announced plans to deepen its European footprint by building offshore capabilities with Oceaneering International, committing $1.36 billion in capital spending through fiscal year 2031.
