Bank of Baroda Ltd reported its Q2 FY26 financial results

reported its Q2 FY26 financial results with a standalone net profit decline of 8.2% year-on-year to ₹4,809 crore, primarily due to a 32% drop in non-interest income such as treasury and recovery gains compared to a one-off recovery in last year’s quarter. Profit before tax fell 11.2% to ₹6,343 crore. However, net interest income rose 2.7% to ₹11,954 crore, helped by an 11.9% growth in advances to ₹12.78 trillion and 9.3% increase in total deposits to ₹15 trillion. Retail advances grew strongly by 17.6%, while corporate loans expanded moderately by 3%.
