BSE Ltd Concerns over regulatory and market-structure changes

The brokerage cited the closing auction session (CAS), higher securities transaction tax and revised RBI bank-guarantee norms as potential risks to BSE’s revenue from proprietary traders. BSE’s options average daily turnover reportedly declined 12% in August from the previous month, compared with a 14% decline for unlisted rival NSE.
