Cipla Ltd new HER2‑bispecific ADC in‑license with SBP Group

Cipla’s U.S. unit entered an exclusive partnership with China’s Qilu Pharmaceutical to license and supply a biosimilar of Merck’s Keytruda (pembrolizumab) in the United States, a move that expands Cipla’s oncology/specialty portfolio but has drawn caution from some brokers on competitive intensity. Separately, Cipla and the SBP Group signed an exclusive licensing agreement for a potential best‑in‑class HER2 bispecific ADC (Rolditamig Deuderuxtecan, TQB2102), further strengthening its oncology pipeline. On the corporate side, Cipla informed exchanges about an NCLT order (August 18, 2026) approving the merger of Inzpera Healthsciences Limited into Cipla, with notices issued to shareholders and creditors. Shares closed around ₹1,371–₹1,394 on September 18, with a 52‑week high near ₹1,526 and a market capitalisation of roughly ₹1.11 lakh crore.
