Coforge Ltd Acquisitions: Encora and Cigniti

$COFORGE Encora Digital LLC: The company completed the Encora acquisition on 23 April 2026, after receiving all statutory and regulatory clearances and approving about $550 million of fund infusion into Encora units. Mint calls this the biggest M&A deal in India’s IT services industry at around $2.35 billion, and says domestic institutions forced governance changes (reducing Advent’s committee influence) before approving the deal. Cigniti Technologies Ltd: Coforge successfully closed the Cigniti acquisition on 30 April 2026, and MarketScreener notes it has now acquired the remaining 45.51% stake, making Cigniti a full subsidiary.
