HINDCOPPER
Hindustan Copper’s board will meet on October 23, 2026 to approve unaudited standalone and consolidated Q2 and H1 FY27 results, with an earnings call at 6:00 PM IST the same day; the trading window is closed from October 1 until 48 hours after results. In Q1 FY27, the company reported revenue of ₹953.60 crore (up 81% YoY) and net profit of ₹352.37 crore (up 162% YoY). In management news effective October 11–12, Abhimanue Singh took over as Executive Director & Unit Head of Malanjkhand Copper Project, while Nagesh Shenoy moved to Corporate Office as Executive Director (Mining-Production, Safety & ISO Chief). On the business side, Hindustan Copper floated a tender for underground mining and mine development at Malanjkhand Copper Project, valued at ₹1,240 crore, as part of its plan to scale mining capacity from 3.2 MTPA to 12.2 MTPA by FY2030. On the policy front, the Indian Primary Copper Producers Association—representing Hindustan Copper, Hindalco, Kutch Copper and Vedanta—urged the government to retain 5–7.5% import duties on refined copper and copper products in Budget 2027–28, warning that cuts could hurt domestic capacity utilisation. Shares closed at ₹467.45 on October 14, up 4.15%, with a market cap of ₹45,300 crore.
