Hindustan Unilever Ltd reported its Q2 FY26 consolidated revenue

HINDUNILVR
reported its Q2 FY26 consolidated revenue rose a modest 2% year-on-year to ₹16,250 crore, with low or flat volume growth due to prolonged monsoon conditions and GST transitions impacting demand. Key segments saw mixed performance: home care revenue dipped 1%, personal care remained flat, while beauty and wellbeing and food & refreshment grew 9.1% and 2% respectively. Despite volume softness, gross margins were at 51.4% with operating profit margin at 23%, slightly lower than last year. Net profit declined 4% YoY to ₹2,500 crore excluding one-off gains which lifted reported net profit to ₹2,690 crore. E-commerce now contributes 8% to total sales and sees ongoing investment in channel-specific product designs. Management expects a recovery in rural consumption driven by GST cuts, easing inflation, and supportive monetary policy in H2 FY26.
