Interglobe Aviation Ltd Operational disruption and DGCA action

DGCA has summoned IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers before a committee as it probes widespread cancellations and crew-related issues, after hundreds of flights were cancelled across Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai over recent days. A DGCA oversight team with senior captains is stationed at IndiGo’s Gurgaon HQ to monitor cancellations, crew deployment and pilot leave on a daily basis, amid pilot body allegations that a lean manpower strategy caused the crisis; the airline has indicated full normalisation may take until around February 10, 2026.
