Larsen and Toubro Ltd Coal Gasification Project

$LT L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore won a large order from Bharat Coal Gasification and Chemicals Ltd (BCGCL)—a joint venture of Coal India and BHEL—for a Coal-to-Ammonia-Nitrate project in Odisha. The project involves setting up a Nitric Acid and Ammonium Nitrate Plant on a Lump Sum Turnkey basis. Once operational, the facility will convert coal into ammonium nitrate with a capacity of 2,000 tonnes per day, catering to mining, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
