Punjab National Bank Q1 FY27 results

$PNB PNB’s standalone net profit surged 213.6% year on year to ₹5,253 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹1,675 crore a year earlier. Net interest income rose about 2% to ₹10,798 crore, while total income remained broadly flat at around ₹37,231 crore. The sharp profit increase was supported by lower provisions and improving asset quality, although the domestic net interest margin declined 20 basis points year on year to 2.64%.
