SAIL's December crude steel output rose 13.4% YoY to 2.18 million tonnes, with hot metal production up 9.8% to 2.36 million tonnes. Total sales volumes hit a monthly peak, boosting shares to a 52-week high of Rs 149.6 on January 5 before minor pullback.
