Wipro will report Q2 FY27 results on October 15, after market hours, following a board meeting on October 14–15; management’s earnings call is set for 7:00 PM IST the same day. In Q1 FY27, consolidated revenue rose 9.7% year-on-year to ₹25,458 crore, while net profit was ₹3,356.3 crore; analysts expect a modest constant-currency revenue decline in Q2. On the regulatory front, the US Labour Department suspended Wipro from the PERM labour-certification programme from October 8, alongside Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, HCL and others, citing alleged misuse of the H-1B programme; Wipro’s ADR fell about 3% on October 8. Separately, Wipro introduced a revised bench policy effective October 1, allowing employees in Band 2 and below to remain on the bench for up to 180 days (six months), with redeployment expectations thereafter. The company also completed an internal restructuring, merging Wipro VLSI Design Services LLC into Wipro IT Services LLC effective October 1, while deferring the Alpha Net Consulting customer-contract acquisition completion to December 31, 2026.#FundamentalViews#WatchOutFor#StockInNews
