Adani Green Energy Commissions 50 MW Solar Project at Khavda, Total Capacity Rises to 17.29 GW

Mumbai, January 25, 2026: Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has operationalised a 50 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat, through its wholly owned step-down subsidiary Adani Green Energy Twenty Six A Limited. Following the commissioning of this project, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity has increased to 17,287.2 MW, further strengthening its position as one of India’s largest renewable energy producers. The company stated that, after receiving all relevant regulatory and statutory clearances, the decision to operationalise the plant was taken on January 25, 2026, with power generation commencing on the same day. The Khavda renewable energy park is a key strategic asset for Adani Green and plays a central role in the company’s long-term growth roadmap. The commissioning of this solar project underscores AGEL’s continued focus on scaling clean energy capacity, supporting India’s renewable energy targets, and expanding its presence in utility-scale solar generation.
