On 25th April 2025, both Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) and Foreign Institutional Investors/Foreign Portfolio Investors (FII/FPI) showed strong buying activity, signaling positive momentum in the Indian markets. DIIs recorded a buy value of ₹16,170.72 crore against a sell value of ₹12,630.87 crore, resulting in a net inflow of ₹3,539.85 crore. FIIs/FPIs bought equities worth ₹15,524.03 crore and sold equities worth ₹12,571.70 crore, leading to a net inflow of ₹2,952.33 crore. The healthy combined net buying of over ₹6,492 crore from institutional investors reflects rising confidence amid earnings season optimism and a relatively stable global outlook. Such robust participation often acts as a strong support for the equity markets and may trigger sustained positive trends ahead.
