DMart Posts 15% Revenue Growth in Q2 FY26; Profit Steady at ₹685 Crore
Avenue Supermarts Limited (DMart) reported a consolidated net profit of ₹685 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26), reflecting a 3.9% year-on-year increase from ₹659 crore in the same period last year. The retail major’s performance was driven by robust store operations and steady demand across product categories.
Revenue from operations rose 15% year-on-year to ₹16,676 crore, compared with ₹14,445 crore in Q2 FY25. Total income stood at ₹16,696 crore, while profit before tax came in at ₹945 crore, up 4.6% YoY. The company maintained healthy profitability despite cost pressures and competitive pricing in key FMCG and discretionary segments.
For the first half of FY26 (H1 FY26), DMart reported revenue of ₹33,036 crore, up 15.8% YoY, and a net profit of ₹1,458 crore, marginally higher than ₹1,433 crore in H1 FY25. Operating margins remained stable at around 7.6%, with net margins at 4.6%, indicating efficient cost management and steady volume growth.
As of September 30, 2025, total assets stood at ₹26,914 crore, while the debt-equity ratio remained low at 0.07x, highlighting a strong balance sheet. The company also issued ₹100 crore in commercial papers at a 6% discount rate during the quarter.
DMart continues to expand its retail footprint through efficient operations and disciplined execution, maintaining its position as one of India’s most reliable consumer retail brands.
