Geojit Financial Services Reports 59% YoY Decline in Q2 Net Profit to ₹23.5 Crore

Kochi, October 20, 2025: Geojit Financial Services Ltd. announced its Q2 FY26 results, reporting a consolidated net profit of ₹23.47 crore, marking a 59% decline from ₹57.42 crore in the year-ago period. Sequentially, profit fell 18% from ₹28.67 crore in Q1 FY26. Total revenue for the quarter stood at ₹172.94 crore, down 21% YoY from ₹218.55 crore, though it showed a 13% rise quarter-on-quarter. Profit before tax (PBT) dropped 60% YoY to ₹30.31 crore. Segment performance showed mixed trends — equity and equity-related income declined 37% YoY to ₹81.63 crore, whereas distribution income grew 12% YoY to ₹62.33 crore, reflecting healthy inflows from investment products. As of September 30, 2025, the company’s customer assets stood at ₹1,09,950 crore across 15.89 lakh clients, supported by a 500+ office network spanning India and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Promoters include BNP Paribas, C. J. George (Founder & CMD), and KSIDC. Geojit maintains a strong GCC presence through its joint ventures — Barjeel Geojit (UAE), BBK Geojit (Kuwait), and QBG Geojit (Oman) — besides a partnership with Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait in Bahrain.
