HCLTech to Acquire Singapore-Based Finergic to Strengthen Wealth Management Capabilities
HCL Technologies Ltd on January 23 announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Finergic Solutions Pte Ltd, a Singapore-headquartered wealth consulting firm, in an all-cash deal valued at SGD 19 million. The transaction is expected to be completed by April 30, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
Founded in 2019, Finergic specializes in core banking and wealth management transformation, with operations across Singapore, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and India. The company reported revenue of SGD 12.6 million in CY2024, along with a profit after tax of SGD 2.9 million and net worth of SGD 5.4 million, highlighting strong profitability for a niche consulting player.
The acquisition aligns with HCLTech’s strategy to deepen its presence in the financial services and wealth management segment, particularly in platform-led digital transformation. By combining Finergic’s domain-led consulting expertise with HCLTech’s global scale and delivery capabilities, the company aims to accelerate the rollout of AI-native, next-generation wealth management solutions. This will also complement HCLTech’s long-standing experience with core banking platforms such as Temenos, where it supports over 40 global banks.
The transaction will be executed through HCL Singapore Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of HCLTech, resulting in 100% ownership of Finergic. No regulatory approvals are required for the completion of the acquisition.
Overall, the deal appears strategically positive, strengthening HCLTech’s high-margin consulting capabilities within financial services, while remaining financially modest in size.
