Hindustan Zinc Reports Strong Q3 FY26 Performance with Sharp Profit Growth

Hindustan Zinc Limited announced its **unaudited consolidated and standalone financial results for Q3 and 9M FY26** (ended December 31, 2025) on **January 19, 2026**. Segment results before interest and tax stood at an impressive **₹5,189 crore**, underlining strong margins. The Wind Energy segment contributed a modest ₹19 crore to revenue. During the quarter, Hindustan Zinc also reported a **net exceptional gain of ₹25 crore**, primarily due to the reversal of earlier provisions. Management reiterated that recent short-seller allegations were **baseless and had no impact on financial performance**.
