IHCL Q2 FY26 Results: Fourteenth Straight Quarter of Record Growth, Portfolio Reaches 570 Hotels
The Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), parent of Taj, Vivanta, and Ginger brands, announced another record performance for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26), marking its **fourteenth consecutive quarter of growth**.
**Consolidated revenue rose 12% YoY to ₹2,124 crore**, while **EBITDA grew 16% to ₹653 crore**, with margins expanding to **30.8%**. **Profit after tax stood at ₹285 crore**, up 15% (excluding last year’s one-off gain from TajSATS). For H1 FY26, revenue increased 21% to ₹4,226 crore and PAT rose 17% to ₹581 crore.
MD & CEO **Puneet Chhatwal** attributed the strong performance to growth in new businesses and management fee income, which jumped 21% YoY. IHCL added **46 hotels** in H1, expanding its portfolio to **570 properties**, and **opened 26 hotels**, crossing the **250+ operational hotels milestone** in India. The company reported a **gross cash balance of ₹2,847 crore** as of September 30, 2025.
IHCL’s **Taj brand** continued its dominance, being ranked the *World’s Strongest Hotel Brand* by Brand Finance for the fourth time, while **IHCL** was recognized as *Turnaround Star* at the *Forbes Leadership Awards 2025*.
