IndiGo Reports Q2 FY26 Results: Strong Operational Execution, Forex Impact Drags Profit
InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. (IndiGo) announced its Q2 FY26 results for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, reporting a steady operational performance despite seasonal weakness. The airline’s **total revenue rose 10% YoY to ₹19,599 crore**, driven by a **9.3% growth in revenue from operations to ₹18,555 crore**. Passenger traffic grew 3.6% YoY to 28.8 million, while capacity increased 7.8%. Yield improved 3.2% to ₹4.69 per km, with load factor steady at 82.5%.
Excluding forex impact, IndiGo posted a **net profit of ₹104 crore**, a turnaround from a ₹754 crore loss a year ago. However, accounting for currency losses on dollar-based obligations, the airline reported a **net loss of ₹2,582 crore**. EBITDAR excluding forex rose 42.5% to ₹3,800 crore, but reported EBITDAR fell 54.2% to ₹1,114 crore due to currency volatility.
As of September 2025, IndiGo held a **cash balance of ₹53,515 crore** and a **total debt of ₹74,813 crore**. The fleet expanded to **417 aircraft**, operating over **2,200 daily flights** across 94 domestic and 41 international destinations.
CEO Pieter Elbers said the company saw stabilization and recovery through August and September and raised its **FY26 capacity growth guidance to early teens** amid strong demand.
