L&T’s Minerals & Metals Division Secures Large Orders Worth ₹2,500–5,000 Crore
**Mumbai, October 24, 2025:**
Engineering giant **Larsen & Toubro Limited (BSE: 500510, NSE: LT)** announced that its **Minerals & Metals (M&M) business** has secured a series of **large orders**, collectively valued between **₹2,500 crore and ₹5,000 crore**, from leading Indian industrial clients.
The company’s key wins include a contract from **Hindalco Industries** for setting up a **180 KTPA Aluminium Smelter** and a **Gas Treatment Centre (GTC)** at its **greenfield project in Odisha**. The scope encompasses **civil and structural works, supply, and erection** of the smelter, along with **EPC and installation** responsibilities for the GTC.
Additionally, L&T received an order from **Tata Steel** to establish a **1 MTPA Coke Oven Battery (6AB)** at its **Jamshedpur facility**, covering **engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction, and installation**.
The company’s **Product Business Unit** also secured multiple contracts for **mining and material handling equipment**, including **stacker reclaimers, wagon tipplers, crushers, and surface miners**, from various clients across India.
