Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured a significant order valued between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for Mumbai Metro Package CA-298. The order involves the electrification of the 24.72-km Metro Line 4 corridor from Bhakti Park (Wadala) to Cadbury Junction, covering 22 elevated stations. The scope includes power supply and traction systems, SCADA, electrical and mechanical works, lifts and escalators, along with five years of comprehensive maintenance. This is L&T’s third successive order on the Line 4 & 4A corridor, reinforcing its strong execution track record in urban rail infrastructure.
