Mahindra Unveils Global Vision 2027 with NU_IQ SUV Concepts Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has unveiled its Global Vision 2027, introducing four bold SUV design concepts — Vision.S, Vision.T, ***** and Vision.X — built on the all-new NU_IQ modular, multi-energy platform. This adaptable architecture supports ICE, EV, and hybrid powertrains, multiple drive configurations, and both left- and right-hand-drive formats. Notably, it’s the world’s first ICE SUV platform with a fully flat floor, offering segment-leading cabin space and comfort. The new SUVs reflect Mahindra’s HEARTCORE design philosophy, blending contrasting elements to evoke adventure, confidence, and emotional connection. Developed collaboratively by the Mahindra India Design Studio in Mumbai and Mahindra Advanced Design Europe in the UK, each concept embodies a distinct character — from the sporty solidity of Vision.S to the sculptural athleticism of Vision.X. Technical benchmarks include best-in-class command seating height (1563 mm), ground clearance (350 mm), generous second-row space, and luggage capacity up to 644L. A 5-link rear suspension with DaVinci damper technology enhances ride comfort, while advanced safety features — such as Twin Trident and Uni_Ring door structures and robust LFP battery protection — ensure global readiness. Strategically, Mahindra aims to disrupt the premium mainstream SUV segment, targeting untapped white spaces in India and international markets. With production slated for 2027, the company seeks to build on its recent outperformance — core SUV sales grew at three times the market rate in the last three years.
