Muthoot Finance Reports Stellar Q1 FY26 — 37% AUM Growth, 65% PAT Surge
Muthoot Finance Ltd has delivered an exceptional start to FY26, posting robust growth across both year-on-year (YoY) and quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) metrics, underscoring its market leadership in gold loan financing.
Key Financial Performance (Q1 FY26):
Consolidated Loan AUM: ₹1,33,938 crore (+37% YoY, +10% QoQ from ₹1,22,181 crore in Q4 FY25).
Standalone Loan AUM: ₹1,20,031 crore (+42% YoY, +10% QoQ).
Consolidated PAT: ₹1,974 crore (+65% YoY, +37% QoQ).
Standalone PAT: ₹2,046 crore (+90% YoY, +36% QoQ).
Operational Highlights:
Gold Loan AUM rose 40% YoY to ₹1,13,194 crore, while average gold loan per branch climbed 39% YoY to ₹23.21 crore. The branch network expanded to 4,877 locations, serving 105 lakh loan accounts (+14% YoY). Credit metrics improved despite higher absolute credit losses, reflecting expanded lending activity.
Subsidiary Growth:
Muthoot Homefin: Loan AUM up 41% YoY to ₹3,096 crore.
Muthoot Money: Loan AUM surged 202% YoY, +28% QoQ to ₹5,000 crore.
Asia Asset Finance (Sri Lanka): Loan assets up 50% YoY.
