✅ NHPC Update – 300 MW Karisar Solar PV Project (Bikaner, Rajasthan)

Key Highlights:
NHPC has received the Certificate of Successful Trial Run Completion for the 5th and final phase (85.72 MW) of its 300 MW Karisar Solar PV Project.
With this milestone, the entire 300 MW capacity of the project has successfully completed all trial runs and is ready for Commercial Operation (COD).
The 25-year Power Usage Agreement (PUA) with Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) will commence after obtaining regulatory approval from the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PSERC).
The approvals are expected shortly, marking the final step before commercial operation begins.
Significance:
This marks the full commissioning of NHPC’s 300 MW Karisar Solar Project, enhancing NHPC’s renewable energy portfolio and contributing to India’s clean energy capacity addition. Once COD is approved, the project will start supplying power to PSPCL under the 25-year agreement.
