NIFTY 50 Slips Below Key Support — Is 25,200 the Next Magnet?

The NIFTY 50 is showing early signs of short-term weakness as the index slips below the crucial 25,500 support zone, a level that had been holding the structure together. With RSI hovering near 46, momentum has cooled and buyers appear hesitant at higher levels. Technically, the 25,530–25,600 band now turns into immediate resistance. Unless the index reclaims this zone decisively with strong participation, the bias remains sell-on-rise. On the downside, immediate support lies near 25,350–25,400, followed by a stronger demand pocket around 25,200–25,250. A sustained break could gradually pull the index toward the psychologically important 25,000 mark. Importantly, this doesn’t look like panic selling. The structure suggests a controlled distribution phase, where supply is emerging near resistance rather than aggressive breakdown. For bulls to regain confidence, a strong close above 25,600 is essential — which could trigger short covering toward 25,800–26,000. Traders should remain disciplined, focus on levels, and avoid emotional positioning. The coming sessions will likely decide whether this is a healthy pullback — or the start of a deeper corrective wave.
