**NTPC Declares COD of Fourth Phase (37.95 MW) of 300 MW Khavda Solar Project in Gujarat**
*New Delhi, October 19, 2025* – NTPC Limited has announced the successful commencement of commercial operations for the **fourth phase (37.95 MW)** of its **300 MW Khavda Solar Energy Project** in Bhuj, Gujarat. The project is being developed by **NTPC Renewable Energy Limited**, a wholly-owned subsidiary of **NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL)**. The new capacity has been declared on commercial operation with effect from **00:00 hrs of October 19, 2025**, under the **450 MW Hybrid Tranche V Project**.
Earlier phases of the project totaling **224.125 MW** were commissioned in June and August 2025, bringing the total operational capacity at Khavda to **262.075 MW**. With this latest addition, **NGEL’s commercial capacity** now stands at **7,515.725 MW**, and the **total installed capacity of the NTPC Group** has risen to **84,039 MW**.
The Khavda Solar Project is a key part of NTPC’s strategy to expand its renewable energy portfolio and support India’s clean-energy transition. The company continues to progress toward its long-term goal of achieving **60 GW of renewable capacity** by 2032.
