OILIND 4 Integrated Waste-to-CleanEnergy Projects in Haryana

Oil India Limited (OIL), through its wholly owned subsidiary OIL Green Energy Limited (OGEL), has signed MoUs with the municipalities of Gurugram, Faridabad, Hisar and Ambala for developing integrated CBG and Waste-to-Energy projects. ⚡ KEY PROJECT METRICS 🔹 Total Waste Processing Capacity: 5,000 TPD 🔹 CBG Production: 70–75 TPD 🔹 Green Power Generation: 50 MW 🔹 Projects: 4 🔹 Locations: Hisar, Ambala, Faridabad & Gurugram Cluster-wise Capacity: Hisar: 500 TPD Ambala: 900 TPD Faridabad: 1,600 TPD Gurugram: 2,000 TPD ♻️ WHAT'S HAPPENING? The projects will use an integrated waste-processing model where municipal waste is scientifically segregated to maximise resource recovery. 🔹 Recyclable material → Recovery 🔹 Wet & biodegradable waste → CBG production 🔹 Non-recyclable dry waste → Waste-to-Energy / electricity generation The objective is to reduce dependence on landfilling while converting municipal waste into CBG and green electricity. 📊 INVESTOR TAKEAWAY The announcement is strategically positive for OIL, as it expands the company's low-carbon energy portfolio through OGEL and gives OIL exposure to the growing waste-to-energy and CBG ecosystem. The projects also align with India's GOBARdhan – National Circular Bioenergy Scheme 2026, supporting the conversion of organic waste into CBG and other clean-energy sources. However, these are MoUs, so investors should track subsequent project approvals, investment commitments, execution and commissioning before assessing the eventual earnings contribution. 🟢 AFS VIEW Strategic Impact: Positive Clean Energy Portfolio: Positive CBG Opportunity: Positive Near-Term Earnings Impact: To be monitored Long-Term Potential: Positive 📌 Key Trigger: Track project approvals, capex announcements, execution timelines and eventual CBG/green-power commissioning.
