Prism Johnson Expands Cement Supply Capacity Through RLJ Partnership

Mumbai, September 14, 2025 – Prism Johnson Limited has provided an update on its strategic partnership with RLJ Cement Limited, aimed at strengthening its supply chain and enhancing its capacity to meet growing demand. Under a non-exclusive supply agreement, RLJ Cement manufactures and supplies cement as per Prism’s quality standards for onward distribution. In its latest communication dated September 13, 2025, RLJ informed Prism Johnson about the successful completion of capacity enhancement at its Mirzapur plant in Uttar Pradesh. The plant’s production capacity has been expanded by 0.204 million tonnes per annum (MTPA), up from the originally planned 0.36 MTPA, bringing the total capacity to 0.50 MTPA. This enhancement will enable RLJ to better support Prism Johnson’s supply requirements. In addition, Prism Johnson’s outsourced grinding capacity has increased from 1.17 MTPA to 1.37 MTPA, reflecting the company’s focus on strengthening its distribution network through supply agreements with multiple grinding units. This capacity expansion aligns with Prism Johnson’s objective to scale operations efficiently and meet the rising demand for cement in key regions.
