📈 REC Limited Delivers Steady Growth in Q4 FY25: Income Up 20% YoY, Net Profit Climbs 5.5%
REC Limited, a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power, reported a solid financial performance for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025. The company’s standalone total income stood at ₹15,174 crore in Q4 FY25, marking a robust 20% year-on-year (YoY) rise from ₹12,643 crore in the same quarter last year. On a sequential basis, income grew 7.1% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) from ₹14,173 crore in Q3 FY25.
Net profit for the quarter came in at ₹4,236 crore, a 5.5% YoY increase compared to ₹4,016 crore in Q4 FY24 and a 5.1% QoQ rise from ₹4,029 crore in Q3 FY25. The company maintained a healthy profit margin despite a 30% YoY rise in total expenses, driven primarily by increased finance costs and provisioning for impairments.
Earnings per share (EPS) also improved to ₹15.96 in Q4, up from ₹15.13 last year. REC declared a total dividend of ₹18 per share for FY25, reaffirming its commitment to shareholder returns.
Backed by a strong balance sheet and strategic joint ventures in the renewable space, REC continues to position itself as a key player in India’s energy financing sector.
