Supreme Industries Strengthens Board with New Independent Directors
Mumbai, September 13, 2025 – Supreme Industries Ltd (BSE: 511754, NSE: SUPREMEIND) announced key changes to its Board of Directors at the meeting held today. The Board approved the appointment of Shri Rajiv Jalota and Shri Sriram Hariharan as Additional Non-Executive Independent Directors for a period of five years, effective from September 13, 2025. Their appointments are subject to shareholders’ approval through a Postal Ballot process.
Shri Rajiv Jalota, a former IAS officer, brings over 35 years of experience in governance, taxation, infrastructure, and maritime sectors. His contributions include tax reforms, public-private partnerships, and urban development projects. Shri Sriram Hariharan, with nearly 30 years of experience in global banking, previously led ICICI Bank’s international expansion and served as CEO of ICICI Bank Canada.
The Board also noted the retirement of two Independent Directors, Shri Rajeev Mahendra Pandia and Shri Ramanathan Kannan, on September 15, 2025, after completing their terms. The Board appreciated their guidance and contributions over the years.
Both new appointees have confirmed that they are not debarred by SEBI or any other authority from holding the office of director. These additions are expected to strengthen governance, enhance strategic decision-making, and support Supreme Industries’ long-term growth.
