Suzlon Unveils ‘Suzlon 2.0’, Targets 10 GW Annual Renewable Energy Sales and 70 GW AUM by FY31

Suzlon Energy Limited has unveiled its long-term growth roadmap, branded as “Suzlon 2.0”, with ambitious targets of achieving 10 GW annual renewable energy sales, a 15 GW order book, and 70 GW of Assets Under Management (AUM) by FY31. The company announced the strategy through an exchange filing on June 3, 2026. As part of its transformation, Suzlon is evolving from a pure-play wind turbine manufacturer into a wind-first full-stack renewable energy solutions company covering Wind, Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), project execution, and asset management services. The company aims to maintain around 40% market share in India's wind energy market while targeting 3 GW of export order intake by FY31. Suzlon also plans to establish a BESS manufacturing facility by 2027 to strengthen its presence in energy storage solutions. A key pillar of the new strategy is RE DevCo, an integrated renewable energy co-development platform that will focus on accelerating project readiness and execution. Management expects RE DevCo to contribute nearly 60% of total business volumes over the coming years. Suzlon further intends to expand its renewable energy asset management business across wind, solar, hybrid, and multi-brand portfolios, targeting a four-fold increase in AUM to 70 GW by FY31. The company also introduced its new brand promise, **“Good Energy That Works,”** highlighting its focus on delivering reliable, affordable, accessible, and intelligent renewable energy solutions for a rapidly electrifying world.
